Help us give back to the local Vancouver community. Zonta convention attendees will be packing hot or cold weather kits for Covenant House Vancouver. Covenant House Vancouver is a non-profit organization that provides support to young people, aged 16–24, who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Our continuum of programs and services supports youth on their journey, and we use evidence-based practices to ensure that we care for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.
By assembling these kits for the youth that Covenant House serves, you will provide young people with essentials to take care of themselves and honor their dignity. Stop by the packing stations at the Hyatt on Saturday, 11 July.
In-person and virtual attendees can further support this project by purchasing items for the kits from an Amazon shopping list. Orders will be shipped to a holding space and brought to the Hyatt.
